In a snug forest long ago, there was a little bear named Stefan. One chilly morning, he awoke to find the world outside his den transformed. It was blanketed in sparkling white snow! Curious and excited, he stepped outside and gasped in awe at the magical sight.
As Stefan wandered through the snow, he noticed tiny white flakes fluttering down from the sky. Intrigued, he opened his mouth wide and began to catch the snowflakes with his lips. Each time he did, the snowflakes landed softly on his eyelashes and paws, only to melt away instantly.
Stefan blinked in confusion, watching the water droplets trickle down. "Where do they go?" he wondered aloud, tilting his head. He tried again, sticking out his tongue and catching more snowflakes, but they vanished just as quickly.
Determined to solve the mystery, Stefan decided to follow the snowflakes as they fell. He jumped and twirled, chasing after them, but every time he caught one, it disappeared like magic.
After a while, he plopped down in a fluffy patch of snow, feeling both baffled and amused. Just then, his friend, a wise old owl named Oliver, flew down beside him.
"What’s wrong, little bear?" Oliver hooted, noticing Stefan's puzzled expression.
"These snowflakes! They keep disappearing! I don’t understand where they go!" Stefan exclaimed, his eyes wide.
Oliver chuckled softly. "They’re like little whispers of winter, Stefan. They’re made of water, and when they touch something warm, like you, they melt away. But don’t worry; more will come! The sky is full of them."
Stefan looked up at the swirling snow, realizing he could keep enjoying the playful dance of the snowflakes. He smiled brightly, grateful for the explanation.
From that day on, Stefan spent his winter days joyfully catching snowflakes, understanding that while they may vanish, the fun of trying to catch them would always remain. And every time he caught a snowflake, he felt a little more connected to the magic of winter.
